The exhibition of the Vienna Design Week at the Collectible 2020 design fair in Brussels highlighted a selection of design objects created over the past 15 years within the festival’s popular Passionswege format, in which traditional craft-based Viennese businesses work together with international designers.
The exhibition design was conceived to be highly transportable. A five meter long spruce board table consisting of two pieces rested on interlocking aluminium U-profiles on custom-made, flat-packable trestles. The white surface top of standard ceramic tiles provided an underlying unifying grid to organise the diverse pieces.
