The exhibition at the Vienna Design Week 2020 displayed a selection of design objects created over the past 15 years within the festival’s popular Passionswege format, in which traditional craft-based Viennese businesses work together with international designers.
The room opposite the festival’s entrance, bathed in pale pink light, greeted visitors with a neon sign that flashed the word OPEN. A three-step podium created a stage for the array of distinct pieces. The glossy white surface, composed of standard ceramic tiles, provided an underlying unifying grid.
